Dita Von Teese: there is "nothing sexier" than lingerie and red lipstick

Burlesque artist and actress Dita Von Teese thinks there is "nothing sexier" than wearing lingerie and red lipstick.

Dita fell in love with red lipstick when she was younger and admits the "love affair" is still going strong.

The 37-year-old told Top Sante magazine: "The love affair [for red lipstick] has never ended – even today I feel like I am partaking in some kind of historic ritual."

She added: "I think there's nothing sexier than wearing lingerie and a slick of red lipstick."

Von Teese added that as she doesn't fit into the modern stereotype of the bronzed blonde bikini babe, she instead uses make-up to recreate the look of past screen idols.
