Demi Moore named as new face of Ann Taylor

Demi Moore is set to appear in a new ad campaign for an American fashion firm that “celebrates modern women of substance and style”.

The 48-year-old actress posed for a series of ads for US clothing line Ann Taylor, shot by famous French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier in New York’s Rockefeller Centre Gardens.

"I am delighted to collaborate with Ann Taylor," said the Indecent Proposal star.

"It is the quintessential American brand for modern working women, and is a company of women, for women.”

Moore, who is married to 33-year-old actor Ashton Kutcher, added: "They really understand what women need today to be confident and successful. The new [autumn] collection is chic, comfortable and beautiful from the inside out, and as versatile and diverse as the lives we lead."

Other celebrities who have previously promoted the US clothing line include Katie Holmes, Heidi Klum, Naomi Watts, Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, Rachel Bilson, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Tina Fey, Olivia Wilde, and Sofia Vergara.

“Demi is a true inspiration for modern women today,” said Christine Beauchamp, brand president of the Ann Taylor division of Ann Inc.

“She manages to balance her demanding career and her family life, while doing so much to create positive change and give back [sic]. She’s a wonderful role model, living an incredibly full, multi-faceted life with poise, passion, and remarkable style.”
