Clint Eastwood looking to make J Edgar Hoover biopic

Clint Eastwood has jumped on the political biopic bandwagon with a plan to tell the story of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover on film.

Eastwood is in talks to make a movie about Hoover from a script by Dustin Lance Black (Milk) that would be produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard through Imagine Entertainment, Variety reports.

Hoover was the first Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Actor-turned-director Eastwood is no stranger to political biography and controversy. He recently made Invictus about Nelson Mandela and has produced 35 movies through his own Malpaso-Imagine production company.
