Christina Aguilera marriage fell apart after Mexico girls-only trip

Christina Aguilera's marriage reportedly fell apart after her girls-only vacation to Mexico with Nicole Richie and Samantha Ronson.

The pop star, who announced her split from music executive Jordan Bratman after five years, took the trip to Cabo San Lucas last month.

"There were already problems between her and her husband, but things only got worse after her wild girls' trip," an insider told the New York Post.

Aguilera and Bratman have a son together from their marriage.

"Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitments to our son, Max, remain as strong as ever," Aguilera said after her split was announced.
