Britney Spears' trip to LA kids' hospital with police escort arouses concern for sons

Britney Spears' engagement of a police escort to an LA children's hospital today set off buzz about the potential health of her sons.

The singer was escorted to the UCLA Medical Center Mattel Children's Hospital, arriving shortly after noon in a three-car convoy that was led by a booked police escort, according to contactmusic.

Spears has two young sons, Sean and Jayden. The trip, however, was later played down as a "routine check-up".

The boys were not sighted with Spears but the question as to what Spears needed a police escort to travel to a children's hospital for remains.

Contact reports her publicist would not answer media queries. The publicist later reportedly told
