Britney Spears' niece a YouTube star singing her song 'Up N Down'

It looks like Britney Spears’ niece could be following in her pop-star footsteps.

The Toxic singer has posted a YouTube video showing three-year-old Maddie Briann singing lines from her song ‘Up N Down’.

“OMG! Check out my niece Maddie covering Aunt Britney’s Up N Down. Sooooo adorable,” the pop princess wrote as she posted the cute clip online.

During the 27-second video, Maddie - the daughter of Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears - appears to be playing with a Britney doll.

She sings: “The beat just dropped and the room got sexy, you’re watching me like there’s no one else around, up and down, up and down, up and down.”

Cheers can be heard in the background after Maddie finishes her performance.

‘Up N Down’ appears on the deluxe version of Britney’s hit album Femme Fatale. The record - Britney’s seventh studio album - was released in March this year.

Britney is currently on tour, in support of the Femme Fatale album.
