Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick have reportedly decided to try for a baby.

The 29-year-old pop star already has sons Sean Preston, five, and Jayden, four, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Now she is said to have convinced her one-time manager that with her Femme Fatale tour set to finish at the end of the year, the time is right to try for a child of their own.

A source told The Sun, "She's always wanted a big family but also wants to prove to herself and to her family she is a good mother. She wants another chance to put things right.

"Now she's finally had the green light from Jason, she can't wait."
