Britain's Got Talent to drop The Hoff?

David Hasselhoff has reportedly been dropped from Britain's Got Talent amid falling ratings.
The 59-year-old former Baywatch actor was drafted in as a replacement for Simon Cowell at the start of the last series, but after losing a million viewers, bosses at ITV have apparently decided not to invite him back.
A source told The Sun that show execs felt that the judging panel, which was made up of The Hoff, comedian Michael McIntyre, 35, and veteran Amanda Holden, 40, 'lacks sparkle'.
"David was a great booking at the time. We thought he'd bring loads of laughs and warmth but it didn't work out. He was fun but had no connection with the acts," explained an insider.
"The panel lacked sparkle and it was reflected in the acts that went through.
"ITV want a new panel as it didn't work this year. Most acts were below par and the chemistry just wasn't there."
The show attracted 11.6million viewers at its peak when it returned in April - down from 12.17million the previous year.
A BGT source said, "It is too early to confirm the panel for the next series."
