Brad Pitt in talks to play elite assassin in The Gray Man

Hollywood star Brad Pitt will reportedly start filming the adaptation of Mark Greaney's thriller novel The Gray Man soon after finishing World War Z.

The Moneyball actor, who is currently in the UK shooting the zombie flick, is in negotiations to play the main role in the new project, according to Entertainment Weekly.

If the 47-year-old does star in the film, he will play a CIA assassin on a mission in the Middle East who learns that the extraction team coming to relieve him are actually being sent to eliminate him.

As of yet, no date for the movie's release has been set.
