Brad Pitt 'had no chemistry with Nicole Kidman'

Brad Pitt reportedly pulled out of Mr and Mrs Smith because he and his would-be co-star Nicole Kidman had no chemistry.

A new book by the film's producer, Arnon Milchan, claims that Pitt, who was then married to Jennifer Aniston, only agreed to do the film when he heard that Angelina Jolie had been cast in the lead role instead.

But sadly for Jennifer, the two fell in love.

"At first, Jen didn't believe he was involved with Angelina. She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it," wrote authors Meir Doran and Joseph Gelman.

But after a New Years' holiday to the Caribbean in 2005, Brad is said to have finally confessed.

"He eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out."
