Beyonc's sister alleges that police pulled a knife on her in big balloon scuffle

Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles has expressed outrage on Twitter after Miami Beach Police allegedly pulled a blade on her.

Solange, 25, who is nearly five years younger than her pop queen sister alleges that cops pulled out a knife and threatened to burst a 5-foot balloon she was carrying.

Solange, who is trying to make it in the music business, wrote that police allegedly having a 'pop at her' was not amusing: "Yes, very funny that there was a balloon involved...but having a switchblade pulled on you is no laughing matter," she wrote.

She then described her frustration at trying to make a formal complaint on the telephone.

"It is time to do something about it. I am a mother trying to raise a black child in America. I am going to die trying."

She continued: "I have been on the phone for the last 20 minutes reporting this incident. Yes I have the officer's name. Yes I have the location."

The Miami Police Department say that Solange 'became abusive' after not being let into a nightclub for having the balloon.
