Attorney reportedly refuses to represent Lindsay Lohan

A high-profile attorney has refused to represent Lindsay Lohan because she ‘has her head in the sand’, it has been reported.

Defence attorney Stuart V Goldberg had a six-hour meeting with Lohan, 23, and her mother Dina to discuss ways to appeal the troubled actress’ 90-day jail sentence but said they failed to meet his expectations.

He told People magazine: "I wanted 100 per cent loyalty and zero tolerance for dishonesty but they didn't seem to understand the urgency and gravity of the situation."

The Mean Girls star’s previous lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley reportedly resigned last week and Goldberg said Lohan still seems unaware of the seriousness of her situation.

"My impression of Lindsay is that she's a fragile lost child – a sleeping beauty with her head in the sand," he said.

"I found her not fully forewarned of the consequence of her actions."

He added: "I'm concerned that she's not disciplined or tethered enough to the reality of adult consequences.
