Angelina Jolie 'unrecognisable' when dressed as a man in Salt

Salt star Angelina Jolie has admitted her famous other half Brad Pitt wouldn't even kiss her when she was dressed like a man for the new movie.

Jolie, 35, took on the part of spy Evelyn Salt for the new acting thriller but said her family weren't impressed with her new look for one of the scenes.

Speaking to British newspaper Daily Star, she said: "When I dressed up as a man, even my son Maddox didn't recognise me.

"I said: 'Maddox it's me.' And he started freaking out and Brad wouldn't kiss me either. He couldn't go there."

There were recent reports that Jolie is taking on the lead role of Marilyn Monroe for a new movie but she seemed to deny it at the London premiere of Salt.

She said: "I don't know anything about it."
