Angelina Jolie: 'There's no secret wedding and I'm not pregnant'

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has laughed off speculation that she is planning to marry partner Brad Pitt and that she's pregnant.

Despite having a large brood of six children with the actor - both biological and adopted - Jolie insists they aren't planning on having any more.

The couple have always said they would not wed until people of different sexual orientation were also free to marry.

And despite recent speculation that they had changed their mind, Angelina says they won't be heading up the aisle any time soon.

In a new interview in the October issue of Vanity Fair magazine, the 36-year-old said: "There is no secret wedding. I'm not pregnant. I'm not adopting at the moment."

The actress also opened up about her screenwriting and directorial debut in new film, In the Land of Blood and Honey.

She said: "Brad thinks I'm going to be a nightmare. I had such a good experience he thinks I'm going to be impatient with directors, which I already am. I get impatient with people working on a film that have their head in their hands like it is the most complicated thing in the world."

She says she regularly sought advice from Brad, 47, but admits their relationship meant he wasn't a fair judge.

She said: "He'd come in and say what he liked or what he didn't understand. Like any woman, I would listen to most of it and fight a few things.

"He's been so supportive. But it's hard to separate the person that loves you from the critic, so I don't think he is a fair judge."

Angie added that the screenwriting and directorial process have made her feel exposed.

She continued: "I've never felt more exposed. My whole career, I've hidden behind other people's words.

"Now it's me talking. You feel ridiculous when you get something wrong."
