The Burton Open kicks off with Sunday Funday on Sunday 7th August. Thirty invited riders will be chaperoned around some of Queenstowns hottest adventure destinations followed by a VIP Burton Open Opening Party at their new accomodation hub - The Kawerau Hotel! (by Hilton)
Sunday Funday will host the opening event in the stylish foyer bar at the K Hotel.
The invite only event will kick off at 8pm and run through till 11pm with complimentary nibbles and Summit beer. The party will be reved up thanks to Burton Open DJs Kev Fresh & R.I.A.
I was lucky enough to head out to the stunning Hilton and K Hotels during Winterfest and their location is one of the most lovely picturesque spots in Queenstown.. on the northern sunny side of Lake Wakatipu.
And if you like funky modern decor then the Kawarau Hotel features really cool rooms! Also in the hotel check out Me & Mee Noodle Bar where you can slurp up a big bowl of Asian inspired favourites and the urban Lobby Bar has some great spots to relax after a day up the mountain.
