DONT MESS WITH THE UNIVERSE.

I am a firm believer in the power of the Universe. If something happens, it has been preordained and there is little that you can do about it, everything that happened before that event, that led to the event, was all part of the plan.

Just before going on my holiday to Whangamata all my little add ons in my highly technical life was in order. My Mac book, my blackberry all in good form. So just before we headed off, what would be the chances both of them would go up shit creek...well both of them did,, on the same day!!

I lost all my contact with the outside world. No email, no contacts, no way of going on my facebook,I was lost, but it was a good thing in a way. Up to that point I was in state of anger and angst. George Bush's little Christmas present to Israel in the form of a freehand last ditch attempt to slaughter as many people in Gaza, before he gets his sorry white ass kicked out of the white house, was enraging me on a daily basis. Funny how the cease fire is now on the cards days before Barack Obama takes over, thats the power of the Universe.

Whangamata is paradise. Did you know that Gaza is a coastal town? How many children there get to go to the beach and play in the surf and in the sand? Watching my girls play in the shorebreak I thought how lucky we are.
