What I was looking for here ladies and gentleman was an amostphere that was exciting and exhilirating and fun,it had to have glamour,style and panache.It had to make you glad you had made the effort to be there. Ok,I know I would be there anyway, I am a photgrapher I go everywhere,but from the punters point of view. They are the one's that put bum's on seat's, they are the paying public, I am trying to imagine who they would award this to.There is only one clear winner...AIR NZ FASHION WEEK 2007.
It had the lot,glamour and style by the bucket load,it brought out the best and the worst in some people, there was hassle over seating,tandrums over the silliest things ,there was even a real celebrity in our midst's launching her new swimwear,we had it all, who need's Paris or Milan when we have AIR NZ FASHION WEEK..can't wait for next year ,be hard to top that one though, people are still talking about it .Highlights for me ,was the catering,excellent from Mint Kitchen,the AIR NZ LOUNGE, great place to relax after shooting model after model on the runway,I actually work my finger to the bone that week, index finger of the right hand.Joking aside it is a very busy week for all involved and at the end of it you are pure knackered.A well deserved winner...
