I know you haven't heard from me in a while. I've been busy ok? There have been some men in there, most of them young and silly. But there is an update that is going to finish this column for the time being.

Billabong Slopestyle at Wanaka Snowpark - F.U.N
Billabong Slopestyle ran over the first weekend in August at one of NZ's most beautiful snow playgrounds in Wanaka - Snowpark. The event attracted a mish mash of people including Billabong NZ crew, Billabong OZ crew, Billabong riders, some of the biggest snowboarders from around the world, DJ's, media, Queenstowners and some serious snowboarding lovers.

Billabong Slopestyle is just around the corner, bring on some snow action!
Counting down and only 2 more sleeps til the Billabong Slopestyle in Wanaka.
The snow is falling heavy and fast and I'm amped to get back up to Snowpark for my second ever Billabong snow event. The last time I was there 2 years ago was one of my first times on a snowboard so this time I'm fully equipped and ready for action.

Amisfield Vineyard was picture perfect!
My afternoon at Amisfield Vineyard was one of the most memorable times I had at Queenstown this year. Deni Bevin picked me up and we first headed for a stroll along Lake Hayes with his puppy Jedi. The lake was so still it was like a mirror image of the mountains and made for some beautiful photos.

I design clothes for positive, gorgeous, free thinking women. Our clothes are made beautifully by very clever and talented pattern makers and machinists in New Zealand. I’m colourful, a little mad and all about spreading the love. Unless you are helping bring awareness to create a happier World I believe that if you don’t have anything nice to say – don’t say it. It’s much easier and far less rewarding to be nasty and bring people down than to look inside yourself, work on your insecurities and spread energy and love.
The truth is I have always loved fashion. I have had a passionate obsession with fashion ever since I can remember. After seeing sides of the fashion industry that are neither glamourous nor empowering, I decided that Lucie Boshier would not be just another fashion label but I was inspired to build a brand that spreads love, empowers people and challenges the traditions of the fashion industry.
One of the scariest things about going outside the square is the fear of not being accepted. Through out my ad campaigns, interviews and provocative fashion shows I discovering that I am quite clearly not alone. I am surrounded by supportive, creative, intelligent, free thinkers. I know that not everybody will understand my brand and opinions for whatever reason. I am on a mission to make a positive impact through the fashion industry and I’m having a hell of a lot of fun doing it!
So I know about fashion and sex. I am not trying to be the next best thing to Carrie Bradshaw (although the woman was a fictional genius) but this is simply what I know, or at least I think I do.
