Hot Parties, but where's that Hot Weather gone?

Wow! It's almost the end of the 2009 and hasn't it flown by so quick?  Getting back into New Zealand life can be quite a difficult task, especially when you're used to living in 38 degree heat and a busy clublife seven nights a week. Unfortunately it's not all blue skies in Auckland just yet, but with summer just around the corner, it's looking to be a very bright 2010..

Well the weather in Auckland may not be that Hot but clubland still seems to be rockin' around Auckland with some truly talented international artists coming to our shores very soon! So this is my pick of the hot gigs coming up..

This weekend Adam Bennett's - Fashion Beauty Music hits @ the Kelliher Estate on Saturday 21st. The first dance event to ever hit this amazing venue & what a lineup to boot. Richard Earnshaw from the US of A and the talented vocalist Terri B will be taking centre stage with a plethora of Auckland's Elite Dj talent. So no doubt Norrie will be about taking snaps, so make sure to look your super sexy best!

The night before sees the final Ministry of Sound Annual event for 2009 @ The Studio with Australian DJ/Producer - John Course. This looks set to be a fantastic event with a truly stellar lineup of Top Jocks & performers.

Looking to the future My record label is hosting it's first ever Club Luxury Classics party @ the intimate Spy Bar on Saturday 5th December. It's gong to be a night for House music lovers as I've selected the finest House DJ's to take you for a trip down memory lane. Lineup includes: The Auckland House Authority, Jolyon Petch, Sam Hill, General Lee, Cuffy & Geoff Parker. Only a tenner before midnight.

The following Saturday sees the return of Auckland's biggest inner city dance festival - the Big Club Night Out. This event is in it's 6th year running and has hosted many successful parties. The final installment for 2009 returns to K-Road on Sat 12th December and joins the Studio, Bacio, Ink & Coherent together for one night & one price. International DJ's Marco Demark & Dave Manna join the 70 odd local names from DJ's like Peter Urlich, Bevan Keys, Sam Hill, Nick Dwyer, Sample Gee, Grant Marshall, myself & loads more. You can check it out here for more details: http://www.bigclubnightout.webs.com

Any Christchurch peeps wanting a Hot night out? May I suggest - The official Club Luxury Christmas Party @ Double Drop on Friday 18th December. Myself & talented music producer Moscomusic from the UK will be performing for one night only. So come celebrate with the Club Luxury crew..

So New Years Eve.. What will you do, where will you go? So much to choose from, but for me hands down the winner will be the HIGHLIFE MATAKANA event. I've performed at everyone of these and have seen the events blossom into a huge well organised festival. This year Highlife has secured a world class lineup featuring Sneaky Sound System, Freemasons, Stonebridge, Vandalism & loads more. These guys are all responsable for releasing huge club tunes & radio anthems, so another reason not to miss out! Along with the internationals this is also one of the largest Auckland DJ lineups i've ever seen!!

Also I thought i'd mention the Summerdayze Festival which returns on Friday 8th January. If your still lurking about in Auckland city. then this ones for you. All the big International DJ's that didn't make it down for New years Eve. Traditionally Australia will always get the bigger acts than NZ for NYE but you do get the chance to see alot of them in NZ the following weekend. So Summerdayze 2010 sees a HUGE lineup from Sharam (Deepdish), Carl Cox, Mark Knight, Tom Novy, Shapeshifters, Eddie Halliwell, Sebastien Leger & more.. Indoor & outdoor stages so lets kick off summer in January in fine sunny style!

See ya on the dancefloor..
